KSP/S invites you to read the following for a clear understanding of expectations and to answer questions you may have about the services we offer.

Project Scope

Time - Average appointment time is 1 hour. Specific time may vary depending on size of property or project, ranging from as little as 30 minutes up to 2 hours.

Image editing - Shoot fee covers basic merging of presentation files and limited spot editing.

Image quality - unless requested otherwise, image sets will be rendered in JPEG format at 300 dpi for a 1024 x 768 resolution.

MLS uploading - Unless other wise stipulated, MLS uploads shall be the responsibility of the client. See Pricing tab for KSP/S uploading of images.

Image storage - KSP/S will keep edited images on file for 30 days from time of release to the client. At the end of the storage period, images shall be deleted in entirety from KSP/S storage media.

Travel fees - KSP/S prides itself on being a "go anywhere, photograph anything" kind of business, by serving the greater Kansas City metro area in all directions. However, distance can be an issue depending on location. Travel fees are added to shoots outside a straight 20-mile radius from our home base in Westwood, Kansas, and will vary based on exact location. Please see Pricing tab for more information.

Site Conditions

KSP/S assumes that properties are "show ready" for purposes of a scheduled appointment. We understand that occupied properties may require some minor finishing touches in getting spaces ready upon starting shoots.

Moving of items - KSP/S will take every care around furnishings and items to avoid disturbance. Minimal adjustments will be made if necessary to obtain a clear image. KSP/S will not be responsible for or engage in removing debris, clearing extensive clutter, or extensive moving of furniture. These actions are the responsibility of the client or property owner.

Property cleanliness - KSP/S will not be responsible for cleaning of dust, dirt, staining, streaky glass, or other easily visible undesirable conditions. The fee schedule does not include elimination of those items from images. For best results, such conditions should be rectified prior to beginning of any shoot.

Children and Pets - KSP/S requests that any children and pets be supervised or secured by the client or owner so that neither will interfere with the shoot, nor pose a threat to the photographer (the pets, not the kids). We like kids and pets, but cannot be responsible for supervision of them while in engaged in executing our professional responsibilities.

Cancellations and Weather

KSP/S asks that they be notified at least 24 hours in advance of a cancellation.

Same day cancellations for any reasons will be assessed a cancellation fee of $30.

Rain - KSP/S will shoot exteriors on rainy days provided that any rainfall at time of shoot is not, in the judgment of the photographer, detrimental to image quality or a danger to the photographer and equipment. See also Split Shoots below.

Snow - Falling snow will be treated similarly to rain. Snow present on the ground at time of shoot is not considered deterrent to shooting appointment unless coordinated with photographer in advance. See also Split Shoots below.

Cloud cover - Exterior shoots will be completed per appointment time regardless of cloud cover. KSP/S will make every effort to limit the effects of cloud cover on image quality. See also "Blue Sky add" in Pricing and Split Shoots below.

Split Shoots

Occasionally, conditions at time of the shoot may require that one part or another may have to be postponed. Such appointments, if desired, can be split to meet requirements. Such appointments will be billed separately, and will be slightly more than one continuous scheduled shoot.

A typical example of this might be shooting the interior of a property but having to delay the exterior due to heavy rain. Such a shoot would be billed as 'Exterior' and 'Interior' as indicated in the Pricing schedule.
